After successfully completing the Response Surface Methodology (RSM) Module, students will be able to

1. Describe different types response surface designs

2. Design, analyze, and interpret the results for

   1. Central Composite Design, CCD

   2. Box-Behnken Design, BBD

3. Choose between the Central Composite and the Box-Behnken designs to better optimize the predictor variables with respect to the response

4. Use MS Excel for manually designing both CCD and BBD

5. Use Minitab to design and analyze both CCD and BBD RSM

6. Optimize predictors with respect to the response 

7. Multiple Response Surface Methodology

   1. Design, analyze and interpret the results 

8. Perform simultaneous optimization for multiple responses
